Our integrated campaigns use print materials, television commercials, public relations and web resources to reach millions of people in B.C.
The award-winning a-b-See™ program is an awareness program for parents, teachers and children about the importance of regular eye exams and lifelong good eye health practices. One in five children has a vision disorder which, if left unchecked, can affect academic and social development and result in serious long-term effects.
BCAO created the campaign to help identify these children early and raise awareness among parents, teachers and the children themselves. Since 2003, with the support of Essilor Canada, the campaign has reached more than 250,000 children across B.C., as well as their parents and their teachers, using in-class activity kits and teacher information kits, brochures for parents, interactive online kids’ games and television ads.
